Smoked: The
Ground hot paprika is an ingredient widely used in Spanish cuisine. It is the powder obtained from dried red pepper. It gives an aromatic, spicy touch and a reddish colour to dishes.
It is used in meat stews, fish stews, rice dishes, soups and stir-fries. It is also ideal for preparing octopus á feira, Rioja-style potatoes, patatas bravas, chorizo, sobrasada and dishes from the gastronomy of Extremadura.
The smoked (smoke-dried) touch gives depth to the paprika, giving nuances and intensity of flavour to the preparation.
