Preparation: Pour batter into a shallow dish. Moisten chicken with egg or milk. Shake off excess. Toss chicken with batter mix until well coated. Let sit for a few minutes to allow coating to adhere. Pour oil into a large frying pan and once hot add the battered chicken, allowing it to fry evenly on all sides until done. Remove and place on absorbent paper. (Use as a substitute for breadcrumbs.)
